Each and every episode will begin with the letter doing something, with the narrator describing. ![]() Alphablocks: Word Magic is a series of 26 short episodes published all at the same time on BBC iPlayer in 2020, making the Alphablocks return after 7 years of no episodes, although these episodes tend to recap all of the letters from A-Z. I have found using these instantly recognisable characters in class help children on their initial journey of learning to read.In this game, that children can access independently on the board, children have the word family ‘en’ or et’ endings already shown on screen. Alphablocks: Word Magic is a sort of spin-off of Alphablocks. The twins see crabs, starfish, octupuses, stingrays and sharks. Children love Alphablocks and they are brilliant at helping young kids learn to read. This French phonics sound activities incorporate fun reading, writing, drawing and many more engaging activities to help solidify important reading skills. Storytime is all about joining in with physical actions, as Benjee Bear and Bailee Bear go on a day out at the aquarium. Grown-ups are encouraged to take part at home by hiding a safe, toddler-appropriate under-the-sea toy or object inside a recycled box for them to reveal and explore with their toddler. This theme is explored through exploration, play, song and story. There are many games that children can use independently during Child Initiated Play, including the following. Parents, carers and their little ones at home are invited to join in with all the fun activities too! The What's in the Box? game reveals a toy octopus, and when the toddlers and parents open up a bigger box, they discover lots more objects and toys that you might find under the sea. Under the Sea Gemma, Benjee Bear and Bailee Bear welcome toddlers Arrella, Harley, Elodie, Vincent and Addi, and their grown-ups, to the Toddler Club. ![]()
